I included more work on my costume design and discussed parts of it with the rest of the group to make sure the characters have the right look for the chracter that they will be portraying which will help the audience understand the characters. Ideas for different parts of the trailer were disucssed and noted down to be storyboarded for later (if we still want to include them in trailer). Also since loads of ideas are being thought of, not all will be included as some ideas are better than others and could give a better effect on the audience.

Started prototyping the different ideas the group had for introducing mine and Umesh's characters for this trailer just to see if these ideas would work and if they could be funny which is the main aim for us to keep the audience wanting to continue watching. Also started the costume designs for my own character and decided on what would be a good thing to wear to fit the character i'm supposed to be portraying.

Today I gained a further understanding of the the word creativity and found out the three elements that make creativity; Copying, Combining and Transforming. With these 3 elements I got a further understanding of what creativity is, so now I can use this knowledge when making my film trailer from using the 3 elements stated before. Copying can be used through taking ideas which have been used in the past in different trailers or in movies as originality is hard to come by due to the fact a lot of things have already been done. I can then take this 'copied' idea and transform it into something new but still similar to the previous video, and after transforming it I can combine this with other ideas which would mean being very creative and this will effect the trailer in a positive way.

Did more work on the film genres and finished off my section. Then helped Robbie and Umesh sort out questions for the survey we made online to ask people around the world their opinions on different elements of film, so we can know what to content we can include in our film trailer which would effect the way this trailer is constructed dramatically so doing this survey is a very helpful thing to do.

I did more research for different film Genres and mainly wrote about the Horror Genre section. I included a written analysis of different conventions that are included in most Horror films. I then did a video analysis about 2 different Horror film trailers and wrote about how these trailers meet the conventions that are typically seen in Horror Films, so if it was decided that we want to make a horror film trailer, we would already have information to help us.
