However, due to the fact that we'd struggle meeting up with Robbie, and filming regularly with Umesh, we had to change the storyboard completely. We decided to change the storyboard to best suit us, and overcome the barrier we had. But, we decided to still keep Umesh in our trailer, as Umesh studies at Lampton too, and we could work with him as well as we can to film to scenes he casts in.
Looking at these storyboard ideas, we additionally decided not to scrap all the ideas, and use some that we could manage to film. We are hoping to still film the bedroom scenes to help portray the character original lives well. Furthermore, we hope to still have the idea of fighting criminals, and making the characters crime fighters.
We also would like to keep the idea of introducing the characters individually to portray their individual characters vividly. We feel this is a good way to represent the personalities the characters have, and help allow the audience to gain a brief understanding of the characters before watching the actual film. It is vital to always acknowledge your audience, as the audience are the people that help sell your film, and help gain the money for the productions. |
We've decided to film in the 3 locations highlighted in the Google map image. We are hoping to film a scene in Ben's bedroom to portray his normal life, and his daily activities. In the same road where Ben lives is an abandoned area which we hope to film in when filming Ben and Umesh hunting down criminals. We additionally hope to film in Umesh's bedroom to portray his normal life, and filming a scene when he wakes up late for school. Lastly, in Redlees park. We plan to film here film the criminal, high action scenes.
Umesh's BedroomFilming in the characters bedroom was a straightforward decision. This is because the bedroom can portray the ordinary live he lives. The bedroom displays a typical teenage bedroom, suggesting a normal teenager, living a ordinary life. We also want to film a particular scene in this location, filming Umesh awaking from bed. We also wish to film comical scenes in this location, as our trailer is a comedy/action genre.
Ben's BedroomThis location was also a straightforward decision. We also would like to film in Ben's bedroom to portray his ordinary life. The bedrooms' appearance is a typical teenage room, suggesting he is a normal teenage kid. We want to film the characters in their bedroom, dressing up in their heroic costumes. A camera shot, reflecting through their mirrors will accomplish this well.
Redlees ParkWe are planning on filming in this park because it is a common area which teenagers hang out, and also an area of a high drug dealing rate. Because of this, it suits our story line and therefore we hope to film here for out trailer. There are loads of trees in this area too, which creates a eerie shadow, this can be used when filming criminals to connote the protagonists.
Abandoned AreaWe are planning on filming in an abandoned area, located near Ben's house. This area is also clear of public, and hardly ever visited. The only people who probably visit this area are criminals, such as drug dealers, therefore would be a good location to film. The appearance of the location seems eerie, and creates a unsure feeling to the audience. This location would be could for filming the criminals, and the chase scene we'd like to do.
